Sisters Pants take 2!

27th September
Tried again with the other fabric for my sisters pj/lounger pants.
Happy, Happy, Happy with these ones!
I decided to join the front and back pattern pieces, so i only have one pattern piece (sort of like adult easy pants!!!)
Was super easier than the other ones!
The drawstring entry bit was better - could do it straight with the seams and was much neater!
Made these a bit longer too. Others were 3/4.
I also encased all the seams. I dont have an OL - so usually just zigzag my seams after they are sewn. NOT this time! I folded the seam allowance over twice then sewed it! It is all on the inside, but it is all encased and not scratchy or shit!! (That is the second pic)
Saw my sister again today - took her to spotlight for a look with me!
AND i come home with 3 lots of fabric she had at home (with dogs!!) that she has asked "is there enough here of each to make me some more pants"
Such a darling. OF COURSE i will make her some. Ha Ha - Ego boost that she thinks they are good enough! Enough to keep me going for ages!
Add to that my SL shopping in the last few days.
3 days and $$$$ later i have a BIG stash of fabric to make my girls things!!
(PS - My sister was 20)
