Sewing for BABIES!!!
I have a friends baby shower at the end of April, so i thought i would try my hand at newborn sewing!
WOW is it a bit faster, but a bit tricky too!
All the small arm holes and leg holes. No way can you use the machine arm for these! Tricky angles to hold it at to sew.
SO I made a blue cord pants, a drill dog print pants, a striped shirt and a blue and striped shirt.
I mucked up the front neckline of the striped one? Not sure if i will include that one for my friend. (The blue on the shirt is more dark to match the pants - not sure why it came out bright)
Amazing how little fabric this uses. I have enough to make 2 more shirts. May make a couple more??? Not sure.
I forgot how small newborns are....I want another one - the clothes are so small.
Be honest - what do you think? Are they worthy of a gift?

Oh they are gorgeous little outfits Liv, and most definitely a great gift!!! I'm sure your friend will appreciate all the hard work that goes into making something so small!
