Taggie blankets (DDs and baby present) and BAG

This is a bit of sewing i managed when i was sick! lol. Coughing!

Andrea on EB made some taggies for babies last week - i thought they looked cool.

AND with my DD2 obsession with he tags on her clothes (falls asleep at night wanting to hold the tag on the back) I thougt i would make some.

I made one each for my DD (what one has the other always wants) and one for a baby being born in the next few weeks. Didnt cure my DD2. She now falls asleep holding her clothing tags, AND her 'aggie' tags. AHHHHH ive created another obsession with her!! THe pic with the 2 is DD's!!!!

The bag is one i managed to do on monday. Someone made a bag for their mum and had a link to a tutorial. I haad a look and it looked easy enough. Gave it a try - thinking a present for mums day for mum. It turned out good enough that i will give to her. THe fabric is like a drill, with an embossed flower print on it. THought i would do a floral inside - if it was black you would 'loose' your things in it! Big button and loop for the fastening.

I am VERY happy with it. Oh - next time i think i would make the base thinner and the height higher!!!
