Another summer dress for DD1

I wanted a simplish dress to make for DD1. She is liking to wear dresses at the moment. I hate zips so thought i would use snaps in the back.

I traced a pattern off another of her dresses. It was just a front and a back, with the skirt being one big long piece i gathered and attatched.

Messed the back up where i did the snaps and the lining...but that is on the inside anyway.

I originally made it WAY too long for her, cut some off and it was a nappy shower!! SO i added some brodere angalise lace to the bottom. It is still a mini type dress, but not a nappy shower!.

I LOVE this fabric. It is a very soft floaty cotton - not stiff like!

There was other colours in this same flower print at SL and i got all the colours. There was a blue, this yellow, a white and a green coloured background.
